So I had another idea. What do you think about disabling global chat? I saw some other players before who said they liked the idea. We would set a freq. for a 'global' chat on the walkie. It would be more immersive. If it turns out to be a bad idea then we could just re-enable it. (This is BonezDWB btw. Idk why I have two accounts tied to one account but anyway just so you know. xD)

That's useful for hard RP servers, but being a soft RP server, global is a good way to communicate with the rest of players in need of any ooc, and that's the reason to have the *R*adio and (ooc) rules over global chat

I know but it makes walkies and the HAM radios almost useless. Maybe we can keep global but make it OOC exclusive? Then you wont have to type ( ) when you type a message because everyone will already know it's OOC purposes. Not to be all hardcore or anything but just to give usefulness back to the walkies. Because to be honest i'm stocked up on at least a thousand batteries and no real purpose for them. xD Also I will respect your final decision but I thought I'd try to negotiate at least. Because I like the walkies function and I just wish it had more purpose is all. I rarely ever get to use them on most servers.

Walkies have the better use for communities in the server, so members can communicate with each other on far distances without everyone reading what they are saying.
I think of them as a more private way of communication, and the *R* like a general radio channel for all to have.
