Well, ive seeing this mod map compilation and thats what ive always wanted for the map to be, full of places to go, build, stay and of course, play. So what do you think we should do for the next season (coming soon)?, please vote on the poll (The "Maps but no map pack" option needs to be studied in order to find what maps are working fine on its own) steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=866374030

A big update on the map like this sounds cool and with it I think another reset/reboot of the lore can compliment it. Sure, it would mean the most recent season is a short one, but if we can get such a huge map in return I'd say it'll be worth it and it'll give a new season a much longer and larger lifespan.

Hey everybody, new here on the forums but I enjoy the server very much.
My only concern is that a larger overall world could be cumbersome for a small server population, at least until cars are implemented. I wonder if there will be too much distance to cover, especially for new people, as well as groups vying against each other. Perhaps with a larger population of players this would be great, but as it stands, this seems like way to many additional buildings, with New Denver being very far apart form Muldraugh and West Point etc. It's already quite a hike from West Point to Rosewood. Just feels like overload. One to a few new areas I could see, but this setup seems like too much. As I read comments on this mod there seems to be some bugs still being worked out, such as lack of zombie respawn in some areas, if I understood the comments correctly. Also, what is the difference between Map Pack and Maps but No Map Pack?
I am interested in hearing more about what you guys think before I vote, and am totally willing to be convinced otherwise.

Hey Harrison, welcome to the forums In extension is almost like the regular map + new denver, and fills many empty forest areas with places to visit and scavenge, so the item respawn could be set long to force players to go out instead of camping sites like is now, cause in vanilla MP respawns are a headache . Still have to check a bit on the mod, but the lack of zed respawn is not bad, there can be isolated places too. The difference is that the map pack is all the user maps mixed in 1 mod, and Maps, but No map pack is adding the map mods that are on the workshop separated, like New denver, bedford and so on... Couple of years ago i did something like that on a private server with some friends, and since the most i love from this game are the maps (i still have an untouched map plan on the freezer ), i would love this server to be an apocalypse with places to go, also im always watching the official forums and helping those who work on this awesome projects and i love to "show" their work and play on it *PS: a reset would also fix foraging on vanilla map.

Hi, hello, bonjour from France, I am against the pack-map, because maps taken individually are well but to impose them all in a pack while we can choose them individually I am not hot... because they are not quite associated / stuck correctly to the head/main map (color of textures, color and variety of trees and vegetation, clear top break between the basic map and the maps proposed for the most part), Then, it is about a game of survival, in individual, or in cooperation, RP or not, and the fact that tere are too many places to have loot will damage the pure survival "if we can find of material/ equipment everywhere, where is the intrerest, and contrary, the big map to the west does not have enough places to foraging, and finally, for the people as me who like to distrust human beings more than zombies, will never be far from the civilization ... so... I'm for the reset, for new maps, but they must be individually chosen... good day to you..

To add a little more on why I'm all for a reset with this giant map included:
As of right now during this season we're just on vanilla maps. Sure, at first it looks like it would take a while to travel from one place to another, but once you've done it the travel distance isn't that far. I've managed to travel from West Point to Rosewood in about 30 real life minutes, under good circumstances.
Most player-made bases are pretty close to each other and the past months it has caused nothing but getting looted by new and old players simply because there aren't that many choices to settle down at. Of course getting looted is part of the game, but so far there hasn't been a chance to actually make a good base because people keep running into each other. I've only seen some good work being done in Rosewood, and that's because most players fear/think it's really far away from the original maps like Muldraugh and West Point and they don't bother traveling there.
With a huge map players would be spread out more, yes. But it'll give players the opportunity to actually set up their communities and bases. Anyone who wants to fight, or invade, or join a community would actually have to do some effort to travel. Plan their next step. Ask themselves the questions: Is it worth it joining people or setting up a trade or an alliance? Is it worth it fighting people? How far do I need to travel to find new supplies? Is there a safe haven out there? The player would need to go out there and discover things. In other words, there's a challenge and I love a good challenge.
With the current vanilla map everyone knows who's where, knows how to get there, knows the loot spawn areas... There's no challenge and honestly it's making things a little boring. Nowadays on the current season everyone's pretty much having the same basic story: "The bandits in West Point are a pain in the ass. Let's settle far away in Rosewood and scavenge in Muldraugh."
A bigger map gives more opportunities and more choices not only in creating a camp/community but also the lore and the character's story. The sooner we can hit that reset button the better. I know it would remove any hard work people have done so far on the current season (example: Rosewood fort), but there would be more choices in setting up an even better community. Previous seasons had a larger map and its lifespan was a lot longer too with such a big cast of characters with unique stories.

Eudoxio and Deadpool, you raise great points. The idea of having to travel to survive is intriguing. Alraia also raises a great point: there may be too many locations to loot with all these additional maps. I am still a bit torn, but I am more comfortable with the idea of a reset and new maps. Now I just have to decide which format is bets, all maps in one mod (map pack), or no map-pack and we choose new ones individually.

Looking at the votes so far it's getting clear we'll be having another reset/reboot, but it's only a matter of choosing what sort of map. At which date can we expect the new reset to take place? It's just so that I can make use of some things I've saved up on the current season and I'd like to go on a balls-to-the-wall zombie killing spree before we transition into the new season.

Hi all, I always interested who have voted for clear vanilla map and game? There is nothing to do at clear from modes game, because all possible things are redone, all places are known. I`m voting for full map that is presented above, however new arias need/should to be tested, I`m also voting for coming back Hydro, More building and installing ORGM, ORGM silencer, ORGM Hydro hunting patch. Modifications are designed to diversify the gameplay and make the game more interesting.

Hey everyone, This is just an other grate idea. Now the question is, where to be starting? Snear I found you a place that you should like, in New Denver. Delete my post if you want to keep it to yourself. I have found several good places, but some seem very far.
